Day 1 Food Log

Post what you ate in the comments so we can share ideas!

Also keep in mind we only gotta make it through February 8th eating this way, worth a trip to the scales before-hand, I won't be shocked if we all trim the waists a tad!

Keep in mind if you get hungry, whenyou would normally reach for something sugary, instead reach for fat! Ie nuts, avocados, coconut milk, two thumbs of oil, etc. It's denser and won't cause an insulin response making you crash! This is about becoming familiar with how our emotions affect our eating habits, so be aware!

  1. Breakfast:

    Went to taco cabana for a mens meeting, got to bacon/egg tacos minus the tortillas. Brought my own banana and avocado half, added pico.

    Morning snack:

    Avocado half, hardboiled egg, some cashews

  2. breakfast: 2 eggs, sunnyside up, cooked in one swirl of oil, grapes and 1/2 banana

    lunch: hamburger patty, squash, orange, pepitas

    snacks: raw almonds, organic raisins - no sugar added

    dinner: pork medallions w/peppers & onions, steamed broccoli

  3. Lunch:

    Bed of spinach, half cucumber, roma tomato, can of unsalted central market tuna, hard-boiled egg, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, pepper

    Afternoon snack:

    Sweet potato fries, half avocado, 1/3 chicken breast

    Dinner:

    Meatballs, stir fry with snap peas, carrots, onions and mushrooms
